The rules
- Use landscape: photos in search results are all displayed in landscape.
- Photos must be at least 1024 × 683 pixels; when in doubt, bigger is better.
- Every room or space needs at least one photo to appear in the photo tour.
- The first 5 photos are displayed prominently on the listing; the first is the one shown in search.
- Experience photos are portrait and may not carry text, logos, collages or heavy filters.
Must be accurate Photos must represent the listing accurately. Fixing light, colour and straight walls is fine; adding or removing things is not.

Should I upscale a small photo to meet the Airbnb minimum?
No. Enlarging adds pixels, not detail, and the photo looks soft. Our tools never upscale: a photo below 1024 × 683 is skipped for this size with the reason, so you can retake it.
