Questions
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Every photo is read, cropped and saved inside your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers, so it also works for photos you have not published yet.
Will it make a small photo bigger?
Never. If a photo is smaller than a platform’s minimum, that size is skipped and the report tells you why. Booking.com, Airbnb and the delivery apps reject or soften upscaled photos, so a skipped size means you need a larger original.
Why is the output smaller than my original?
Where a platform gives a recommended size (Instagram 1080 px wide, Google Business Profile 720 px on the shorter side), or a common safe one where it does not (Airbnb 2048 px long edge), the photo is scaled down to it. Bigger files only slow the upload and the platform shrinks them anyway.
How does it choose the crop?
Each size is cut at the platform’s aspect ratio from the centre of the photo, as large as the photo allows. Platforms that only say “landscape” get a 4:3 crop if your photo is upright.
Does it remove the location from my photos?
Yes. Saving through the browser drops the EXIF data, including GPS coordinates, which you would not want on a public listing of your home.
How many photos can I resize at once?
Up to 50 per batch. A whole listing or menu usually fits in one go. Each name starts with the photo number, then the platform and size.
Can it fix dark or crooked photos too?
Not this tool — it only resizes. The Nest & Pixel photo lab fixes light, colour and crooked verticals without adding or removing anything, then cuts the same sizes. The first photo is free.
